Penile Botox
At Skin6, Penile Botox is an advanced, physician-performed treatment that involves carefully injecting botulinum toxin into the corpus cavernosa – the erectile tissue of the penis. By relaxing smooth muscle within the tissue, the treatment may improve blood flow and is being explored as a supportive option for men experiencing mild erectile dysfunction or looking to optimize erectile function.
While Penile Botox is not a cure for erectile dysfunction and results vary from person to person, some patients report improved erection quality, enhanced responsiveness, and increased confidence. It may also be recommended for individuals who have had an incomplete response to oral ED medications, as determined during a medical consultation.
Also known as Bocox, this non-surgical erectile dysfunction treatment is part of the men’s sexual health care at our Toronto clinic, where we welcome clients from across the GTA.
The procedure is performed in-office, requires minimal downtime, and typically takes less than 30 minutes. Most patients can return to their normal daily activities shortly after treatment. Results generally begin to develop over several days and may last approximately 3-6 months, depending on individual factors.

How Penile Botox Works
Penile Botox works with your body’s own erectile process. An erection depends on the corpus cavernosa — the spongy erectile tissue that runs the length of the penis. That tissue is lined with smooth muscle, and the muscle acts like a valve: when it stays tense, it limits how much blood can flow in; when it relaxes, the tissue can fill and expand.
During treatment, our physician injects small, precise amounts of botulinum toxin directly into the corpus cavernosum. The Botox temporarily relaxes the smooth muscle within the tissue, reducing resistance to blood flow. With the muscle relaxed, more blood can enter the tissue during arousal — supporting firmer, fuller and more responsive erections.
Because the treatment enhances your natural mechanism rather than replacing it, there is no surgery, no implant and nothing to take before intimacy. Results develop gradually over the first one to two weeks as the muscle relaxes, and typically last three to six months before a maintenance treatment is considered.
Penile Botox is an off-label, physician-performed treatment, and it is not right for everyone. At Skin6 it is provided under the medical direction of Dr. Spencer Chambers, and every treatment begins with a private consultation and medical assessment to confirm it is a safe, appropriate option for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is penile Botox?
Penile Botox, also known as Bocox, is a physician-performed treatment in which small amounts of botulinum toxin are injected into the corpus cavernosa — the erectile tissue of the penis — to relax the smooth muscle inside it and support healthy blood flow.
Does penile Botox work?
Penile Botox is an emerging, off-label treatment. By relaxing the smooth muscle in the erectile tissue, it may improve blood flow and erection quality in appropriately selected men, including some who have had an incomplete response to oral erectile dysfunction medications. Results vary from person to person, and it is not a cure for erectile dysfunction — your consultation determines whether it is a reasonable option for you.
How long does penile Botox last?
Results develop gradually over the first one to two weeks and typically last about three to six months, depending on the individual. A maintenance treatment can be scheduled as the effect begins to fade.
Is penile Botox safe?
Botox has been used medically for decades, and penile Botox is performed at Skin6 by a physician after a full medical assessment. As with any injection, temporary bruising, swelling or tenderness at the injection site can occur. Your physician will review your medical history and any risks that apply to you during your consultation.
How much does penile Botox cost in Toronto?
At Skin6, penile Botox is $800 per treatment. Consultations are free, and your physician will confirm your treatment plan before anything is booked.
What are the side effects of penile Botox?
Side effects are usually mild and temporary — most commonly minor bruising, swelling or tenderness at the injection site for a few days. Serious side effects are uncommon, and your physician will review the full picture with you at your consultation.
Who is a candidate for penile Botox?
Good candidates include men with mild to moderate erectile difficulties, men who have not responded fully to oral erectile dysfunction medications, and men looking for a non-surgical way to support erection quality and confidence. A medical consultation is required to confirm candidacy.
